Land-Based Worker
Beaverhouse First Nation
Beaverhouse First Nation is seeking a dedicated and culturally grounded Land-Based Worker to support community wellness through meaningful land-based programming.
This full-time role will help strengthen identity, resilience, and connection to culture, language, and traditional teachings for individuals, families, youth, and Elders.
The Land-Based Worker will plan, organize, and facilitate activities such as hunting, fishing, trapping, harvesting, medicine gathering, and land-based camps. The role also includes coordinating seasonal programming, working closely with Elders and Knowledge Keepers, supporting culturally safe programming, arranging logistics, conducting safety planning, and maintaining program records and reporting.

Employment Type: Full-Time
Hours: 35 hours per week
Salary: $45,500–$50,000 annually
