Wabun’s scholarship program is supported through sponsorship and funds raised at the Annual Wabun Scholarship Fund Golf Tournament, held every August.
Students member to Wabun’s First Nations, enrolled in a post-secondary institution, are eligible to apply for a scholarship. As part of his/her application package, the candidate must include a short narrative, why he/she is deserving of a scholarship, as well as proof of academic performance or recent transcript.
Academic fields for these awards include – but are not necessarily limited to:

- I.T.
- Health
- Engineering
- Business / Finance
- Environmental Studies / Natural Resources
Those interested must apply in writing and include the most recent transcript of your academic performance. Your letter must state why you feel you deserve the award as well as your career goals.
