Wabun Tribal Council Health Services is seeking a dynamic individual to assume the role of Regional Crisis Coordinator for a term position.

The Regional Crisis Coordinator (RCC) provides support to the Community Crisis Team Coordinators through regularly scheduled meetings, crisis situations, and case management meetings.

This position’s primary focus is to provide service to individuals/families of the Wabun Communities experiencing incident related trauma with primary focus on suicide and family violence.


    • Experience in the Social Work field and\or counselling
    • Skills and knowledge in Crisis Intervention\Prevention and Family Violence Prevention
    • Ensure all crisis team members receive training in First Aid/CPR, other related training as appropriate, such as crisis intervention training
    • Maintain client files and data on cEMR
    • Awareness and sensitivity to aboriginal cultural needs
    • Ability to provide presentations and group workshops
    • Ability to speak a First Nations language an asset
    • Ability to work flexible hours
    • Ability to travel

Position-Type:  Full-Time (Term Position).
